Located at Chijmes since 1996, Tatsu is one of the pioneers of Japanese fine dining in Singapore. After its recent facelift, the restaurant now incorporates a dual counter concept focusing on expertly prepared sushi, sashimi and teppanyaki. Diners can sit at the counters and watch chefs whip up their meals. The boldly flavoured teppanyaki dishes, which are specially crafted in-house, are accompanied by a signature mix of alcohol and sauces that bring out the best flavours of the ingredients. Speciality dishes to tuck into include teppanyaki flambe wagyu beef, live lobster in special sauce, and premium wagyu ox tongue. Tatsu also boasts a dedicated Japanese bar that serves a wide range of sake, shochu, wine, whisky and beer, with a focus on Japanese mixes that are unique to the outlet.
