Southbridge

Southbridge at Boat Quay is a great option to enjoy drinks, bites and the fireworks on 9 August. From 5pm -12am, the rooftop bar will be offering a special selection of a la carte bar food such as oysters brightened with chilli, garlic and calamansi sauce or ponzu and yuzu sauce, wagyu beef sliders, tuna tataki and grilled bikini sandwich with truffle and smoked pancetta. Wash these down with a Singapore-inspired cocktail such as Tropical Singapura made with Phraya Thai rum, mango puree, homemade watermelon and coconut syrup, ginger beer and lavender bitters or Singapore Swing – Southbridge Sichuan pepper-infused vodka, Dom benedictine, maraschino, lime and momo juice

Smoke and Mirrors

At this National Gallery bar, you’ll not only get to see the aerial fly-past and fireworks display across Marina Bay, there will be a buffet of local favourites to enjoy. Tuck into satay, signature laksa, braised pork slider, prata, Hainanese chicken rice, and chilli crab meat with mantou and even DIY ice kachang to sooth the palate. And check out the live station with roasted barbequed delights, roast pork belly, Peking duck, and char siew too. Pay $68 per person for this buffet which comes with two drink coupons. For those who want more booze can opt for the free-flow drink package upgrade at an additional $35 per person. The National Day Rooftop Soiree starts from 5pm till late. Buffet dinner will be served from 6pm – 9pm.

Caffe Fernet

Celebrate national day at Caffe Fernet with a four-course family-style dinner and free-flow drinks from 5.30pm – 9pm. Tuck into dishes such as crispy soft shell crab with roasted corn, Calabrian chilli and toasted garlic,  grilled chicken piccata with saffron and honey, and braised beef short rib rendang with lemongrass polenta and crushed peanuts. To amp up the celebration, special Singapore Sling cocktails will be served too. Plus every table here affords a dazzling view of the fireworks.  For this ticketed event, all tables and seats will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Aura Sky Lounge

Aura will be offering National Day promotions on 9 August from 6.30pm – 10.30pm, which can be enjoyed in both the restaurant and the Sky Lounge. National Day Exclusive Menu ($138 per person) features a five-course dinner, which include Italian-inspired creations like sea urchin tortelli with black garlic, fennel and candied lemon, Kagoshima wagyu with smoked peppers, chanterelles and rucola as well as raspberry and lime cake with coconut crumble and strawberries. Of course, this is topped with a stunning fireworks display. The walk-in package includes two complimentary house pours at $52. Tables will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
